TOBE, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Company") establishes the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "Policy") regarding the handling of users' personal information in the smartphone application "Dear Juliet" (hereinafter referred to as "Service") provided by the Company.

Article 1 (Information We Collect)

The Company collects the following information in this Service:

1. Information Provided Directly by Users

  • Profile Information: Nickname, date of birth, gender, and other information optionally set by users
  • External Account Linking Information: Name, email address, etc. provided when logging in with Google Account or Apple ID (within the scope permitted by the user)
  • Conversation/Consultation Data: Text data and voice data entered or transmitted within the app. This data may include expressions related to the user's emotions, psychological state, life views, and other personal inner experiences.
    * Voice data may be transmitted to external services for voice generation and analysis
  • Inquiry Information: Email address, inquiry content, etc.

2. Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Logs: App launch date/time, usage status, session duration, IP address
  • Device Information: Device model, OS version, language settings, country/region, browser version
  • Cookies: Used for convenience improvement, session management, and access analysis
  • Purchase History: Billing status provided by payment platforms
    * Credit card information is not retained by our company
  • Rose Information: Information regarding credits (Roses) granted, purchased, consumed, or forfeited within the Service

Article 2 (Purpose of Use)

The Company uses the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Provision, operation, and improvement of the Service (including AI dialogue generation, tarot readings, voice generation, etc.)
  • Providing continuous, context-aware communication through long-term memory features such as "Star Memories"
  • Research and analysis for improving AI response accuracy and developing new features (information including conversation data is used only in non-personally identifiable form)
  • Responding to inquiries and providing support
  • Creating marketing and statistical data
  • Creating statistical data processed into non-personally identifiable format
  • Market analysis, document creation, and provision to third parties as anonymous data
  • Responding to terms of service violations and unauthorized use
  • Billing management, fraud prevention, refund handling, inquiry response, and service improvement for Rose-related information (purchase, grant, consumption, forfeiture, etc.)

Article 3 (Data Transmission to External Services)

This Service uses cloud services, AI services, analysis tools, and other services provided by external providers to realize functions such as dialogue generation, voice processing, data storage, access analysis, and payment processing. Accordingly, user information may be transmitted to such providers within the necessary scope.

External service names are not fixed; we use external services that fall into the following categories. The handling of functions and data provided by external services is subject to each provider's privacy policy.

1. AI Models/Generation Services (Text, Voice, Images, etc.)

Purpose: Dialogue generation, tarot reading generation, voice synthesis

Data that may be transmitted: User input text, voice data, conversation history

2. Voice Processing Services

Purpose: Analysis of recorded voice, voice generation processing

Data that may be transmitted: Voice data, voice metadata

3. Database/Authentication Services

Purpose: Storage and management of user data, login authentication

Data that may be transmitted: Profile, conversation data, usage logs, etc.

4. Access Analytics/Performance Measurement Services

Purpose: Usage analysis, app performance improvement

Data that may be transmitted: Usage logs, cookies, device information, IP addresses, etc.

5. Payment Platforms

Purpose: Processing of in-app purchases and subscriptions

Data that may be transmitted: Purchase status, transaction information (card information is not obtained by us)

Article 4 (Disclosure to Third Parties)

The Company will not provide collected personal information to third parties without user consent. However, this does not apply in the following cases:

  • When required by law
  • When necessary to protect human life, body, or property
  • When provided as anonymized statistical data
  • When provided in connection with business transfer (merger, company split, etc.)

Article 5 (Personal Information of Minors)

  1. Personal information of minors is collected and used on the premise of parental consent.
  2. The Company may restrict the content of information collected and the scope of use depending on the minor's age and usage status.

Article 6 (Security Measures)

The Company implements appropriate security measures (access control management, encryption, external service selection criteria, log monitoring, etc.) to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.

Article 7 (User Rights)

  • Disclosure, Correction, Deletion: Can be requested through in-app features or by contacting us
  • Deletion of Conversation Data and Long-term Memory: Users may request deletion of conversation data and long-term memory information such as "Star Memories" held by the Company through account deletion or other means
  • Withdrawal of Consent: Possible through account deletion or app uninstallation
